CONVERGE™ eliminates the deforming mesh issues typically associated with moving boundaries in other CFD software. In CONVERGE™, the internal grid cells do not change during boundary motion. Thus, there is no numerical diffusion associated with fluxes through internal faces as boundaries move.
In addition, because of the runtime grid generation methodology used in CONVERGE™, moving boundaries are just as easy to include in a simulation as stationary boundaries!
